	Our goal is to help people focus on worshiping God and preparing their hearts for God's Word and the message. 
	We achieve our goal by ensuring that Sunday Services run smoothly, by using music to help people focus on God's goodness, and by welcoming people to God's family. 
	Worship team members and audio 
		  technician, if you cannot make it that week, please find your 
		  replacement and notify the worship team leader of the switch. Other 
		  service helpers, if you cannot make it that week, please find your 
		  replacement and notify

		  Task Descriptions 
	Birthday Cakes/Communion preparation  
	Van Drivers: 
	
	Welcome/Usher (you are the face of 
		  SFCC): 
	
			  - 
			  
Show up at 11:30am. Fold Sunday bulletin if needed.  
			  - 
			  
Smile, and shake hands with as many people as you 
			  can on Sunday.  
			  - 
			  
Introduce newcomers to at least one other church 
			  member.  
			  - 
			  
Close sanctuary doors when worship service is in 
			  session.  
			  - 
			  
Know the location of extra copies of Bibles, or 
			  extra pens, be ready to pass them out when needed.  
			  - 
			  
Collect offering.  
			  - 
			  
Count offering at the end of service.  
		   
	Worship Leader / MC: 
	
			  - 
			  
Assemble song power point, and print out slides for 
			  the visual tech.  
			  - 
			  
Know the passage of the service, read it ahead of 
			  time, and clarify any difficult pronunciations.  
			  - 
			  
Familiarize with the day’s announcements.   
			  - 
			  
Introduce yourself and the flow of service to the 
			  speaker. Emphasize when the speaker will be cued to do 
			  what.  
			  - 
			  
Work with sound tech to direct sound check.  
			  - 
			  
Start service on time at noon.  
		   
	Worship Team:

Setup your own instrument and microphone.  
			  - 
			  
Sound check.  
			  - 
			  
Put away your own microphone, instrument, music 
			  sheets at the end of service. (also after practice).   
		   
	Audio Tech:

Show up at 11:30, to help setup microphone and 
			  instruments.  
			  - 
			  
Setup video camera for nursery viewing.  
			  - 
			  
Sound check.  
			  - 
			  
Prepare for service (blank tape, setup for 
			  additional audio input if needed for service.)  
			  - 
			  
Select pre- and post-service music.  
			  - 
			  
Label the day’s tape recordings; file audio tape in 
			  library.  
			  - 
			  
Clean up and lock up sound equipment area.  
		   
	Visual Tech: 
	
			  - 
			  
Show up at 11:30 to setup equipments, obtain worship 
			  slides.  
			  - 
			  
Adjust for proper focus, projection tilt and size, 
			  and slide size.  
			  - 
			  
Work with the speaker if has slides for sermon. 
			  Coordinate with sound tech if audio file is to be used for the 
			  service.  
			  - 
			  
Leave computer and projector on until the service is 
			  completely over.  
			  - 
			  
Return discs, shut down and pack up all equipments. 
			  Clean up visual tech area.  
		   
	  
	
		  Requirements 
	Van Drivers: 
	
			  - 
			  
25 years and older. Current driver’s license and 
			  good driving record.   
			  - 
			  
Comfortable driving a van.  
			  - 
			  
Name and driver’s license submitted for church van 
			  insurance coverage.

Go through 1 month of training period of  
			  participation during worship practices and become familiarize with 
			  the procedure and type of music.

Required attendance to worship practice for the 
			  particular Sunday Service. (You can not skip practice and be on for 
			  Sunday)

Continue learning about concept of worship and 
			  strengthening own musical skills.

	Lunch Crew 
	Our goals are to welcome and greet people by serving them lunch, and to help keep our church social hall and lobby clean.  
	Lunch Crew:  
	
            - 
              
Take out rice, dishes, and serve lunch.  
             
            - 
              
Clean up as described by list of duties.  
             
            
              
                  - Pack up leftovers 
 
                  - wash the serving equipment 
 
                  - wipe the tables 
 
                  - sweep or vacuum the social hall 
 
                  - take out all the garbage and put in new liners (include kitchen, classrooms, bathrooms and dinning hall) 
 
                  - move the two green garbage bins outside (make sure the lids are closed all the way down) 
 
                  - Vacuum the lobby (upstairs) .
